Saleenya is a Rockin' Americana Trio made up of 3 singer-songwriters who live in Nashville, Tennessee. Friends for nearly 8 years, Sandy Moyer (SA), Kat’Lee Jones (LEE) and Tonya Noga (NYA) had performed at many Writers Nights together, and their voices and styles complemented each other so well that "what's the name of your band?" became a common question. So they decided to become one, Saleenya, a combination of their first names. Their off-stage friendship and sisterhood shows through when they perform, telling stories and laughing with each other through on-stage antics, making them also fun to watch. Since they are all songwriters, they share the spotlight as lead singer, and accompany one another on vocals, guitar, Djembe and shaker with styles ranging from rock to pop to country, fitting the all-inclusive Americana genre. Their harmonies are tight and their lyrics are powerful and uplifting and thoughtful, sometimes funny, and their energy is palpable as they rock out or lay back with 3 acoustic guitars. Adding in a mix of cover tunes to their originals has allowed them to easily play 3-hour sets.
Individually, each of them has released an EP or Album and has had extensive side projects and accomplishments.
